The safety of the republican roads does not end with the initially identified 36 routes with a concentration of road accidents. The Agency is planning measures for another 145 sections with increased risk. The sections have been determined based on dangerous maneuvers by drivers or the need to supplement or update the traffic organization found within their scope. The sections are also part of the approved Work Program for the implementation of road safety measures, according to the Operational Action Plan for Road Safety for 2025, which was adopted by Decision of the Council of Ministers No. 296/09.05.2025. The deadline for the implementation of the measures in these sections is by the end of 2026.
A Plan for the safety of sections of the national road network with a total length of nearly 500 km and deadlines for the implementation of the measures has been published on the RIA website in the section “High-risk road sections“.
