Technologies do not make us gods, but show us what we still do not know about being human. This was said by Plamen Rusev – the founder of Webit, in “Wake up” on Nova TV.

He believes that people can prepare for the future.

“When you talk about the future, you have to talk with empathy and with heart”, he pointed out. And he added that his goal is to help people adapt to the modern technological reality.

“The fact that machines think is not scary. It is scary if people stop doing it. When I see more and more people trying to "get" their brains out and "get" them in the phone and the respective agent telling them what to say, what to do, how to do their homework - that's the scary thing," he believes.

Rusev also made a few predictions.

“In a world of screens, face-to-face contact will be a luxury. We are just starting to invest in this. In the foreseeable future, the battle will not be for oil and land, but for our biological data and DNA,” he said.

In his words, when we start creating biological units, the human being will become less and less valuable. And that is why he advised us to protect our biological and personal data. “This is not a joke, this is the most valuable thing that makes us human”, he added.

”The world around us is becoming increasingly programmable. Reality itself will be mixed – virtual and real”, said Rusev.
