The Mayor of Petrich Dimitar Brchkov has launched an advertising campaign in Romanian for the house of Baba Vanga, Rupite and the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica. This was announced to TravelNews by the municipality. Billboards in Romanian and Bulgarian have already been placed along the "Struma" highway in the direction of Greece. The motto is "Stop by and visit" the house-museum of Baba Vanga in Petrich, Rupite with the temple of the famous prophetess and the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica, Mayor Brchkov commented to TravelNews. Thus, Romanians and Bulgarians traveling to Greece can pass through the areas, he emphasized.

Baba Vanga also became popular in neighboring Romania after the hip hop hit "Baba Vanga" by musicians from our northern neighbor - F.Charm and Paula Danca, released two months ago. The song has already been viewed over 20 million times on YouTube. After the release of the hit, the mayor of Petrich promised that he would make an advertising campaign. He also plans to invite the musicians to the site to learn about the history, as well as to give a concert.

“We have not developed the Romanian market so far, but we are already working hard in this direction”, Katya Stoyanova, director of the Historical Museum in Petrich, which includes Baba Vanga's house in the city and Heraclea Sintica, told TravelNews. She added that they will make advertising materials in Romanian. They also plan to participate in the international tourism fair in Bucharest in the fall.

The Romanian rappers are performing a track inspired by the life and predictions of Baba Vanga. The song combines modern hip-hop rhythms with lyrics reflecting the mystical aura of the prophetess. The lyrics emphasize her contribution and influence on people, describing her as a figure who has inspired and continues to inspire many. Hundreds of people on social networks have even made their own videos with the prophetess.

F.Charm learned about the Bulgarian prophetess through her interest in Bulgarian history. “Vanga is known as a prophetess of the future. Her predictions were accurate and are known all over the world. She has recently become famous in Romania. After we released the song, more and more people are learning about her“, says F.Charm.
