The election of the ombudsman and the update of the state budget in connection with municipal projects, in my opinion, are a request for a full mandate. This was said by the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova in Razgrad, quoted by dariknews.bg, who was among the official guests of the Yogurt Fair and the Festival of Folk Traditions and Crafts.
„My expectations are that there will be efforts - the different parliamentary groups that do not support the government will seek consolidation so that their attacks can be more concentrated, because you see that at the moment everyone is helping everyone, but there are discussions among them about which parliamentary group is the authentic opposition, which is the bigger opposition. In my opinion, this conversation is taking too long, instead of focusing on the problems of Bulgarian citizens and municipalities,“ said Kiselova.
“I think that the understanding of “BSP-United Left“ is clear and categorical that we are against early elections and for this reason we voted for a national ombudsman. One of the first things we did after we were sworn in as members of parliament in November was to challenge the so-called list of potential candidates for prime minister in a caretaker government, because we believe that placing an additional condition on certain positions is not in the interest of the normal functioning of both the Court of Accounts, the bank, the ombudsman and the National Assembly,“ Natalia Kiselova also noted.
