Kiril Dobrev: If things are divided into left and right, as in real politics, this could be the restart of the BSP

According to Dobrev, if Borisov listens to Ivan Kostov's words that GERB and PP-DB would be an ideal coalition for the presidential elections, this will restore political life in Bulgaria.

Kiril Dobrev, deputy chairman of the PG of "BSP - United Left", commented on BNT whether it would be a curiosity if the Commission for Combating Corruption was closed with the votes of Peevski, and not of General Atanas Atanasov and PP-DB.

"These are the double standards constantly imposed by the so-called opposition now, and before that by the ruling party. When we vote for something with Peevski, but they are together with him, it is a good thing. But when GERB, BSP and ITN are supported by Peevski, for example, our admission to the eurozone, this is something very bad. Then we are a domesticated left. Otherwise we are servants of Peevski or something like that, but when they do it, when Peevski is with them, they feel strong, powerful, they start hiring, appointing people to exactly those repressive services that they now claim and write about. By the way, all the changes in the CPC, to make it this tool, were made with the help of the DB, "We continue the change", GERB and DPS, said Kiril Dobrev.

According to Dobrev, if Borisov listens to Ivan Kostov's words that GERB and PP-DB would be an ideal coalition for the presidential elections, this will restore political life in Bulgaria.

"I really hope, and maybe this will really be the restart of the BSP, if things are again divided into left and right, as it is in real politics. Because the last few elections, this political timelessness with early elections for the last 4 years every few months, led to the entry into parliament of such non-systemic parties that have no experience. Secondly, they don't know why they are there.
And thirdly, they have become some kind of show, not for gathering votes and support, but for likes on Facebook. I believe that the formation of left and right in the political space can restore political life in Bulgaria," said Dobrev.

Kiril Dobrev, who is also the chairman of the Transport Committee in parliament, commented on the changes to the Road Traffic Act.

"This law has been amended 10 times since it was created and adopted. What we tried to do is to limit or create conditions for fewer road injuries. There was a proposal from the Council of Ministers to reduce the speed. We did not reduce it, but we increased the possibilities for its control and higher fines. The municipal, TOLL, and Traffic Police cameras are now in a common system. And if until now only tripods have been following you and hiding in the bushes, now you are under full surveillance. The average speed will be in short sections, where we have the same speed. Example - from Boyana to the junction for "Mladost". In just 12 hours there were 860 violations of the average speed. This is not normal. We cannot go out to "Kulata" or "Kalotina" and go abroad to be the most exemplary drivers, and in Bulgaria to think that we are immortal," Dobrev commented.
