Ivaylo Valchev: The PP-DB party seems to have woken up from a dream and said that the CPC was a mistake

The prices of products will hardly be fixed until the end of 2026, as the deputies propose, because not every day traders receive goods at the same prices. On the other hand, a percentage margin on markups can be set that will not be exceeded illegally. This was stated by the MEP from “Ima takvi narod” Ivaylo Valchev in the studio of “Sabùvì se” on the occasion of Bulgaria's transition to the euro.
According to him, it is normal for an attempt to round prices to make it easier for traders to have an increase of a few euro cents, but unjustified price increases should be prosecuted and punished by the state apparatus.
Valchev also commented on the work of the Anti-Corruption Commission. “ITN has long wondered why there is an agency that copies the activities of several others. The PP-DB seemed to have just woken up from a dream and said that the CPC was a mistake. How was it not a mistake when it served you when you were in power, and the moment you are not in power, the mechanism you created turns against you and becomes a mistake?”, the MEP asked rhetorically.
According to the former MP, the “Zhelyazkov” cabinet can be overthrown by itself. The ITN has not yet discussed whether it will have its own candidate for president in the next elections.
