During the day the situation will be similar to today - code orange and code red have been announced for the entire country. Maximum temperatures will be between 37° and 42°, in Sofia - around 37°.
It will remain sunny. In the evening, cumulus clouds will develop in the western half of the country and in places in the mountainous regions it will rain and thunder. There will be a moderate southeast wind blowing, which will orient from west-northwest in Western Bulgaria after noon.
It will also be sunny along the Black Sea coast, with a moderate southeast wind after noon. Maximum temperatures will be between 29°C and 32°C.
The sea water temperature will remain around 25°C-26°C. Sea waves will be 1-2 points.
It will also be sunny in the mountains, with cumulus clouds after noon in the massifs in Western Bulgaria. In the evening there will also be areas with precipitation and thunderstorms. There will be a moderate wind blowing from south-southeast, but by the evening it will orient from west-southwest.
At the beginning of the new week, with a weak to moderate wind from the northwest, temperatures will gradually decrease. On Monday and Tuesday, Northern and Western Bulgaria will have sunny hours, but cumulus clouds will develop and there will be rain and thunder in places, and hail is also possible. In Southeast Bulgaria, it will remain sunny and very hot.
On Wednesday and Thursday, cumulus clouds will develop during the day in the mountainous regions throughout the country and in some places there will be rain and thunder. Temperatures will also drop in Southeast Bulgaria, with the prevailing maximums between 29° and 34°.
