The first helicopter to help extinguish the fires in our country landed in Plovdiv, NOVA reported.

The aircraft comes from Hungary. 3 more helicopters are expected to arrive from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and France and two planes from Sweden.

The past 24 hours were very difficult for the country. 236 fires broke out on the territory of Bulgaria.

On the air of "In Focus" entrepreneur Dimitar Dimitrov joined in, explaining the current situation.

He pointed out that there is a risk that the fire will spread to Bulgaria, as the wind is strong. Dimitrov is on the Bulgarian side with a team of volunteers and equipment to monitor the situation and be ready to act if necessary.
