According to official data, the fire in Transko has already crossed the Serbian border

The fourth and last helicopter that Bulgaria requested under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism is expected to arrive in our country today. We recall that the first helicopter to help fight the fires in our country came from Hungary and landed at the Plovdiv airport on Sunday evening. Later at night, the other two arrived.

This was specified by "Nova TV".

On Saturday, our country requested four aircraft to join the firefighting in our country, but it was later specified that helicopters would help the local firefighters. Over the weekend, there were four main outbreaks that the authorities were fighting - the fire in Lesovo, in Ilindentsi, in Tran and the Ruse village of Nikolovo.

Outbuildings and thousands of used tires stored on private property were burning in the Sliven village of Chintulovo. Due to the heavy smoke, a warning was issued to surrounding villages to keep their windows closed. 5 fire crews fought the disaster until the early hours of the day. A specialized vehicle was sent to measure the purity of the air.

The actions to localize the fire around Yambol continue today. A partial state of emergency was declared for five villages, with the most critical situation in the village of Kozarevo. A helicopter, military personnel and many volunteers participated in the extinguishing operations. The fire, which covered hundreds of acres, started in the area of “Bakadzhik”.

According to official data, the fire in Transko has already crossed the Serbian border. On Sunday morning, a fire covered two neighborhoods in Veliko Tarnovo, which later turned out to be deliberate arson.
