A traffic accident between two heavy goods vehicles on the southern side of the Troyan-Karnare pass forced the pass to be closed, announced the head of the Troyan regional police department - Ivaylo Stefanov.
At the moment, there is no data on the severity of the incident. The road on the southern side of the pass is temporarily restricted to motor vehicle traffic.
In connection with the clearing and removal of the crashed trucks, traffic is also temporarily closed on the northern side - from the Kamen Most area in the direction of Beklemeto.
Police teams will be deployed on site to inform travelers. Access to the Beklemeto resort complex will be possible, but passage to the southern side of the pass will not be allowed until the road is fully restored.
Citizens will be informed when traffic is restored.
