A serious accident is hindering traffic on the northern side of the Republic Pass.
Three cars collided in the area of the village of Mishemorkov Han. There were no casualties, the officers on duty at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications reported. Nine people were injured in the accident, including two or three children. They were taken to the Emergency Department in Veliko Tarnovo, BNR reports.
Traffic is being regulated by the police, cars are being allowed to pass through one lane, and trucks are waiting at the scene.
The causes of the accident are under investigation. Pre-trial proceedings have been opened.
