Our Buzludzha is a symbol of memory, comradeship and dreams. This was stated by Ivan Takov, Chairman of the BSP - Sofia and Deputy Chairman of the BSP, in his address to all socialists and leftists in the country on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of the Buzludzha Congress. It was organized and is being held at the initiative of Dimitar Blagoev on the Historical Meadow under Mount Buzludzha. And August 2, 1891, will remain in history as the date on which the Pioneers, led by the Grandfather, created the organized socialist movement in Bulgaria.

"Buzludzha is a place of memory. Memory of values and the people who fought for them, said Ivan Takov. - We must never forget that we cannot do politics without values. Because politics without values is ordinary trade. And freedom, justice and solidarity are the foundation of the BSP".

The Deputy Chairman of the BSP noted that Buzludzha is also a place for camaraderie. "134 years ago, there were no presidencies, stages and stands on Istoricheska Polyana," he said. - They were all comrades then, united by a common cause. And today we must preserve the camaraderie. True and pure camaraderie".

Last but not least, the Chairman of the BSP - Sofia pointed out that Buzludzha is also a place for dreams. "The pioneers believed then that another Bulgaria was possible. That tax responsibility can be fairly shared between those who have and those who have not. That education and healthcare are goods, not commodities. That the state should protect the public interest, not private greed. That Bulgaria can be a country in which everyone can live with dignity, regardless of their origin, social status and understandings. I will not stop believing that their dreams are also our dreams today. That their faith is also our faith today. That our memory has not faded, and the camaraderie is alive... Happy holiday, comrades socialists!".
