On August 8, a passenger train traveling on the Kyustendil - Sofia line hit a man.
The signal was submitted at 18:39 to the ODMVR via tel. 112 by the train commander, who reported that the man suddenly jumped in front of the train.
The scene of the accident was visited by a police group on duty and a medical team, who confirmed the death of the 38-year-old man.
The body was taken for an autopsy to the Kyustendil hospital. Shortly before the incident – at 6:13 p.m., a report was received from the mother of the 38-year-old man, who reported that he had left a suicide note and she could not contact him.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case, the prosecutor's office has been notified.
