A man was attacked and injured with a knife in Samokov, the police reported. The incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on August 8.
Around 12:20 a.m. on August 9, the Samokov Regional Office received a call from the Emergency Department about a man who had been admitted with a cut above the elbow.
The victim was charged with a crime and was released for home treatment after receiving medical care.
After conducting rapid operational actions, forensic experts identified and detained the perpetrator, who is also an acquaintance of the police.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the case.
