A helipad for emergency air assistance will be opened at the hospital in Kardzhali. This will allow air ambulances to be used in the area.
The construction began last year.
The official opening is at 10:30, and the ribbon will be cut by Health Minister Silvi Kirilov.
Our country has three medical helicopters and two more are expected by the end of the year.
Three more machines should arrive in 2026.
