Man disappeared in the stormy sea of Sunny Beach

The incident occurred in extremely dangerous conditions - the waves reached 4-5 meters in height

A large-scale search operation was held today in the sea near Sunny Beach for a missing tourist. The man sank in the stormy waters during strong waves and a red flag, and rescuers searched for him with a boat and jets, but they never found him.

The incident occurred in extremely dangerous conditions - the waves reached 4-5 meters in height and "pulled inward", according to Bulgaria ON AIR. Despite the ban on entering the sea, marked with a red flag, the tourist entered the sea.

Specialized teams with modern equipment participated in the search. Boats and jet skis explored the water area, and rescuers surveyed the area while the missing man's wife screamed desperately from the shore.

Dozens of beachgoers gathered on the shore and watched the dramatic rescue efforts. Despite the large-scale operation and the equipment used, the search remained fruitless at the time of publication of the information.

The red flag signals a complete ban on swimming due to the extremely dangerous conditions. High waves of up to 5 meters and strong underwater currents make swimming deadly even for experienced swimmers.

The case reminds tourists of the need to strictly follow the warnings of rescuers and not enter the sea when the red flag is raised.
