The court will decide today whether the 18-year-old who hit five people with an ATV in Sunny Beach should be returned to custody. Protests are currently being held in several cities in the country demanding a fair trial, bTV reported.
With a request and hope for a miracle – the mother and child to come back to life and be among their loved ones again, this is how the protest began in front of the Courthouse in Plovdiv.
They hope that the 18-year-old who caused the accident will receive a more severe sentence and categorically demand a requalification of the charges.
Relatives and teachers from the kindergarten that the child attended before the accident are also at the scene of the demonstration.
The association of parents of deceased children “Angels of the Road“ called on the Prosecutor General to pay strict attention to the investigators on site due to suspicions of lack of transparency in the investigation and, if necessary, to move the cases to other cities.
