Today, state matriculation exams will be held – in a profile subject and by profession. Over 3,500 students are expected to take the matriculation exams.
The exams will be held in over 400 schools in the country.
The official start of the exam is at 8:30 a.m. However, matriculation students must be at the schools at least 30 minutes earlier, bring an ID card and an official note. The most preferred subjects for the matriculation exams are English, geography and biology.
Some of the students from vocational high schools will defend a diploma project, others will develop an exam topic or solve a test on the theory of the profession.
This session also includes high school graduates who have not taken previous exams or who already have a diploma but want to improve their score for university application.
The results of the exams will be announced by September 5.
