A 20-year-old man died in a road accident on a street in the Pazardzhik village of Sbor, the Regional Directorate (OD) of the Ministry of Interior - Pazardzhik announced.
A signal about the incident was received at around 04:45 in the Pazardzhik Regional Directorate. Duty teams of the police department, the “Traffic Police“ sector and an ambulance of the Emergency Service were immediately sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the law enforcement agencies found that while driving from the center to the exit of the settlement, a 20-year-old man from the same village lost control of his car. The car left the roadway and crashed into a reinforced concrete pole from the power grid, the police said.
A duty group of the regional administration in the regional town conducted an inspection, and the body was transported for an autopsy in forensic medicine at the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment - Pazardzhik.
Pre-trial proceedings are underway in the case under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Pazardzhik.
