A man drowned in the Kardzhali dam, the police reported.
The incident was reported on August 24. While taking a boat trip to the dam, a 35-year-old man entered the water to swim.
His friends noticed that there was a problem, came to help, as did other citizens who were at the scene.
The man was pulled to shore, but died. The body was transported for an autopsy and the case is under investigation.
