The dams are drying up, and their owners are earning millions, while 260,000 Bulgarians are miserable, have no drinking water, bathe with jugs, carry buckets and fill cans. The list is from 2024 and I have it officially from the ministries, because even when I was a deputy I was fighting this gigantic injustice.

Water is supplied to these dams according to an approved annual and monthly schedule and quantities by the Minister of Environment and Water, Manol Genov (from the Bulgarian Socialist Party). The same one who convinces us that the water crisis is stable and will be resolved only if we let our tomatoes in the yard dry. Let the journalists find him and ask him how much water he has allowed, to how many private hydroelectric power plants and whose property they are. This is a key question at the moment!
Yesterday Borisov, who has governed the country for 15 years and under whose rule the "Irrigation Systems" were cut, and who is the main culprit for the crisis, promised that drilling will still be done near Pleven. How long should people wait - a year, two, five? And in the end, it will be like the water supply in Pernik - the money was stolen, the water supply does not work.
And while people are waiting, millions are flowing to private water supply companies and no one says a word about them.
Why? Are there MPs, former ministers, their families, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law among the owners? Who are the owners and related parties?
People, they are lying to you while they are stealing from you! There is water, but it flows out and flows like millions into the pockets of those in power and their cronies.
One of the measures that will give the fastest result is to immediately stop the private vets.
There is no way it can continue like this - for some millions, for the people genocide.
