A 32-year-old man from Pomorie hit an elderly woman in the "Bratya Miladinovi" neighborhood in Burgas, bTV reported.
The incident occurred at around 11.23 a.m. yesterday in the parking lot in front of block 33 in the Burgas neighborhood. The man was reversing a "Renault Master" minibus when he hit an 87-year-old pedestrian.
The elderly woman suffered a contusion to her right arm, abrasions and a hematoma on her head. She was admitted to the "Heart and Brain" hospital for treatment, without any danger to her life, BGNES reported.
The 32-year-old from Pomorie was tested for alcohol and narcotics, with the second sample being positive for cocaine use.
The driver was detained for up to 24 hours. A speedy investigation has been initiated into the case.
