The fight over a clamp: There are more recordings of the fight, they are yet to be investigated

It is somehow absurd and unpleasant to constantly change laws, and in a number of cases the right of the fist takes precedence. This is what happened yesterday, when in the center of Sofia two men and employees of the Center for Urban Mobility got into a fight over a clamp placed on a car.

The case takes place on “Dunav“ Street. This was indicated by bTV.

Video footage shows how the two men try to remove the clamp from the car themselves. At that moment, two employees of the Center for Urban Mobility join them, with whom they exchange a few remarks and a brawl begins on the street.

The police learned about the incident yesterday, shortly before 2:00 p.m., after receiving two citizen reports. But by the time their teams arrived on the scene, the conflict had already been stopped.

„Regarding who started it first - the dynamics are difficult to trace, but the physical blows were inflicted for the first time by the CGM employee“, Stefan Totev, deputy head of the 5th Regional Police Station, told bTV.

All participants in the conflict have been examined in various hospitals in the capital and various in-depth examinations of their condition are pending. But the police specified that the injuries are minor.

„There are witnesses and eyewitnesses who noticed what was happening. We also have other recordings that have been seized and are to be examined in detail“, said Stefan Totev.

And he explained: citizens have claims for an illegally installed bracket, and in turn, CGM employees state that it was installed legally, but the citizens' attempt to dismantle the device leads to an escalation of tension - first with insulting words, and then with a physical fight.

The CGM employee has been detained for up to 24 hours.

bTV also contacted the Center for Urban Mobility, where they replied that they stand firmly against any form of aggression and if guilt is proven, he will be sanctioned by the company in accordance with the relevant procedure.
