The prosecutor's office has brought to criminal responsibility the employee of the Center for Urban Mobility (CGM) in Sofia, who was detained after being beaten in an incident for installing a bracket on a car.
Only bTV spoke to one of the two men who decided to remove the limiter.
They are construction workers at a site on “Dondukov“ Blvd. One says that he received an SMS about a bracket being installed. At his request, we are not showing his face
“Therefore, we called the CGM to come and waited for them for half an hour to come. They came nervous. We asked them why we had a bracket when we had coupons. One was covered and not visible. We were entitled to two hours, not four," the man says.
He explains that last week they were fined again.
„We paid for brackets and so on, but we're fed up“, the man says.
So yesterday they decided to take matters into their own hands.
„We told them that we would remove this bracket because we are within our rights and we would take it to Urban Mobility“, the man said.
According to him, the CGM employee provoked him.
„And he took a picture of me with his phone and said to me - now I'm going to make you famous in the media. And with my left hand I reached for his phone and pushed him. I didn't mean to hit him. If I wanted to, I would have hit him with my right hand. When he got off - what are you doing, a tyrant? I shouted yes! And he hit me in the head. The next blow was on my colleague and from there we continued... so to speak, fighting“, the man also said.
“There was also an exchange of blows between the participants in this dispute. In terms of who started first, the dynamics of the situation are difficult to follow, but the physical blows were inflicted for the first time by the Urban Mobility employee“, said Commissioner Stefan Totev, Deputy Head of the Fifth District Department.
In a statement from the CGM, they explained that their employee was provoked, and if his guilt is proven, he will be sanctioned.
