This is not our Bulgaria! This is not normal! This is what Kiril Petkov commented on today and made a special address to the people of Varna and Sofia.
Here is what Petkov wrote on his "Facebook" page:
"It is absolutely unacceptable that there will be political prisoners in Bulgaria in 2025. Varna, show that scumbags cannot steal your mayoral election! All these impudent, unforgiving and self-forgetful people must understand that free citizens will not put up with this outrage.
It is not normal for Blago's young children to visit the detention center, full of bedbugs, to see their illegally detained father. This is not our Bulgaria!
Come on, Varna – see you on the square on September 2!
On Wednesday, Sofia should also come out to state clearly: political prisoners in European Bulgaria are unacceptable.
Eurasian models of governance have no place here. All free Bulgarians together will show them that!"
