Drilling is about to begin on 11 of the existing potential water sources in Pleven, BNT reported.
A meeting will also be held in the municipality today, at which the local authorities and principals will discuss the normal start of the school year against the backdrop of the water crisis.
To address the water shortage in schools, the municipality plans to install hydrophore systems for water supply. ViK-Pleven is about to deliver hydrophore systems to schools and hospitals free of charge.
At the end of last week, the Regional Ministry announced that the first real results of the emergency measures for the water shortage are expected in September.
