From 10 p.m. on September 1 to 6 a.m. on September 2, the walls in the tube for Varna in the "Vitinya" tunnel on the "Hemus" highway will be painted, the "Road Infrastructure" Agency announced, dariknews.bg reported.
During the implementation of the activities, traffic will be restricted and those traveling to Varna will be redirected from the 30th km of the highway at the "Vitinska Reka" junction on road I-1 Sofia - Botevgrad and road II-17 and will continue along the highway at the p. v. „Botevgrad“.
The activities will be carried out at night, when traffic is lighter and the travel of citizens is not hindered.
The „Road Infrastructure“ Agency appeals to drivers to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and speed limits, and not to undertake risky overtaking that endangers the safety of all other travelers.

The organization of traffic on the I-6 Gyueshevo - Kyustendil road is changing for the period from September 1 to 5, the press center of the „Road Infrastructure“ Agency announced. infrastructure“, quoted by BTA.
On a section of road I-6 Gyueshevo - Kyustendil - Radomir, from km 0 to km 42, from 8:00 a.m. on September 1 to 6:00 p.m. on September 5, traffic will be gradually limited to one lane due to the installation of road markings.
During the same period, but from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the section from km 25 to 27, between Kyustendil and Yabalkovo, the passage in the overtaking lane in both directions will be limited due to the restoration of street lighting. The activities will be implemented by the Kyustendil Municipality in accordance with the agreement concluded between the local government and the RIA to undertake joint measures to restore lighting in the section.
The Agency “Road Infrastructure“ and the Municipality of Kyustendil have taken joint measures to increase traffic safety on the I-6 Kyustendil - Sofia road in the area of the village of Yabalkovo, as according to an agreement between two institutions, the RIA will restore and replace the poles, and the municipality will ensure their connection to the electricity distribution network. In March this year, the RIA installed a protective fence with a length of about 3 km. in the section. The reason for the measures taken is an accident at the end of last year between a car and horses, in which an 18-year-old girl died and two people were injured.
