Tram traffic is restored on Sofia's "Graf Ignatiev" street from today, the Bulgarian National Radio reported.

The repair of the rail track in the area of the intersection between the "Dragan Tsankov" and "Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi" boulevards continued for a week. 75 meters of a single track have been replaced, informs Eng. Asen Tsenkov from the Sofia Municipality.

"The entire rail profile is covered with vibration and noise insulation elements. The intersection is partially open and there will be regular traffic on "Graf Ignatiev" on the four lines that pass from there.

A small amount of paving will remain to be completed, but this will in no way hinder citizens. Another repair is planned for next year, which will be of a slightly longer duration, because the other curves that exit at "Hristo Smirnenski" will also be repaired, said Eng. Tsenkov.
