Prime Minister: The incident with Von der Leyen's plane is not being investigated, the interference is neither hybrid nor cyber threats

It is not true that someone is selling off state property, a malicious campaign is being waged, Rosen Zhelyazkov also commented. He explained that he met with Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev, "without beating drums and fanfare", to establish which properties are needed by the Sofia Municipality.

The incident with the jamming of Ursula von der Leyen's plane signal is not being investigated - these interferences are neither hybrid nor cyber threats. This was announced by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov to journalists in Burgas, quoted by BNT.

"Part of the methods of waging modern wars include the so-called radio-electronic warfare, which represents interference in the radio frequency spectrum and this has been observed in recent years in war zones. The interventions are from Helsinki, across the Black Sea, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Cyprus, Syria, and all the way to Tripoli. All of this is interference, because it affects the radio frequency spectrum of the GPS signal from satellites nearly 20 km above the ground. This interference is not targeted at one or another aviation object. Such things happen every day."

There is nothing that the air traffic management in Bulgaria has not implemented according to protocol, he also stated.

Zhelyazkov described the president's comment that a "brutal purge" is being carried out in the National Security and National Administration of the Republic of Bulgaria as a "rather metaphorical statement."

"I have no data on anything that suggests any Stalinist methods. The law says that the proposal must be made within a month. We are still maintaining a good tone and do not expect the president to behave in a way that would put him in default".

It is not true that someone is selling off state properties, a malicious campaign is being waged, commented Rosen Zhelyazkov. He explained that he met with Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev, "without beating drums and fanfare", to establish which properties are needed by the Sofia Municipality.

The Prime Minister explained that the purpose of the changes to the State Property Act is to systematize these properties and not for sale.

"First, to see whether it can be provided to a municipality, secondly, to provide for the possibility of compensation for expropriation, thirdly, to seek an opportunity during concession to provide a public service, for this property to also serve. Only when this thing does not meet expectations - an opportunity to sell it".

The properties are much more than 4400, and the government has sent a proposal to the National Assembly to consider the program for their management and make a decision.

Asked about the visit of Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov and Regional Minister Ivan Ivanov to China, Zhelyazkov said that both are on annual leave.

"I saw from the media that they are in China on an official party visit, I assume that as related socialist parties, they are probably exchanging party experience. They were neither seconded by me nor by the Council of Ministers. The government has no relation to the party initiatives of one of the coalition partners".
