China is the second economy in the world. In recent years, we have lost our ties with this country, and they are important. A large part of European countries maintain good relations with China. I regret that I was not able to travel to China because I was engaged here. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the BSP and Chairman of the Transport Committee in the SOS Ivan Takov in the program “Face to Face“ on bTV on the occasion of the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the BSP Atanas Zafirov, for which he was asked to resign.

This parade was on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory over Hitler-fascism. The BSP has had friendly relations with China for 76 years. After we were invited, it was only right that our delegation should go. This is not an official state visit, but a party visit, he emphasized and added that this visit to China was important for the BSP.

According to Takov, this opposition will continue to exist.

I am calm about the government because I saw what it is facing. I did not hear anything meaningful to offer as an alternative from the opposition. This will be a waste of valuable parliamentary time, given the challenges that lie ahead, commented the BSP deputy chairman on the occasion of the prepared vote of no confidence in the government.

The most important priority for the BSP is to move towards changing the tax model. The non-taxable minimum, then we will talk about a fairer tax system, the corporate tax should be at least 15% as recommended by the European institutions, explained Ivan Takov.

The politician also commented on the incidents in the capital yesterday. "It was already clear yesterday what happened to the derailed tram at Sitnyakovo. The main thing was that there was external interference. As the chairman of the transport committee, I was obliged to say what was clear about the case so that there would be no speculation. My mind cannot comprehend how someone could let the tram move freely. It is fortunate that this did not happen two hours later," said the deputy chairman of the BSP and chairman of the transport committee in the SOS.

The issues with salaries in public transport have been resolved. Yes, they have not been resolved in the long term, but increasing salaries and improving working conditions in public transport is part of our priorities, he specified.

It is extremely important to renew the public transport fleet. Negotiations are underway for a loan with the European bank. I wish we could do it faster so that we don't witness similar incidents like yesterday's, said Takov. Public transport should be only within the Sofia Municipality, he added.

Selfies are fashionable, but the environment in which these children grow up is very important. I have 13-year-old children and I can't imagine them roaming the streets alone and doing such things, and me not being able to do anything, said the politician regarding the rescue operation of children who climbed onto a 200-meter crane to take selfies.
