As a main task for those in power during the period of the introduction of the euro, Georgiev pointed out preventing unscrupulous speculators from burdening Bulgarian citizens. "This does not mean that we will interfere in the market economy or regulate prices, but an adequate coordination and coordination mechanism between the National Revenue Agency, the Consumer Protection Commission and all relevant authorities, so as to monitor what is happening in the market, and to give a clear signal that no one would even think of inflating prices unreasonably beyond usual market practices," the minister emphasized.
