During his visit to China, the Chairman of the National Council of the BSP and the coalition “BSP - UNITED LEFT“ Atanas Zafirov, together with the delegation he led, visited the Xiaomi electric car factory - one of the fastest growing manufacturers of cars and high-tech solutions in the world.
The factory is one of the largest automotive production centers in the world, where one car is produced every 76 seconds. Almost all components in electric vehicles are of Chinese origin, which is evidence of the high level of vertical integration and industrial capacity of the country.
The visit is part of the BSP's efforts to promote cooperation in the fields of innovation and sustainable industrial development. The members of the delegation had the opportunity to learn about the latest achievements of the Chinese industry in the development of electric vehicles, autonomous technologies and new generation battery systems.
The Bulgarian side emphasized the potential of our country to become a platform for technology transfer, industrial cooperation and a logistics base for Chinese companies to enter European markets.
„The visit to the Xiaomi factory is a strong signal that our country can be an active partner in the development of innovation and sustainable industry. The future belongs to technology, and Bulgaria has all the prerequisites to be part of it“, Atanas Zafirov pointed out.
