Residents of Pleven have once again protested over the ongoing water crisis in the region, Bulgarian National Radio reports. Their protest continues in front of the municipality building, and the partial state of emergency in the city and 14 other settlements in the region was extended until October 1.

With a protest motorcade, the dissatisfied passed through the central streets of Pleven, and then blocked traffic on the main Sofia-Ruse road near the village of Yasen.

Their protest continued in front of the municipality building in Pleven, where even more dissatisfied citizens gathered.

The protests are getting bigger and bigger.

Today's message: "Goodbye, we will come to visit you soon" is to all those who govern us, said participants in the protest.

The "Anti-Corruption" association was categorical that the protests would continue until the problem of the water crisis is solved.
