New footage from Ruse captures first punch, inflicted by a person outside the car

The footage also matches the story of 18-year-old Kiril Gochev in a courtroom

Footage shared on social media from security cameras provides new details and a new direction for the case in Ruse, in which police chief Nikolay Kozhuharov was attacked and beaten.

We are talking about video footage distributed by the Bulgarian Elves organization, which is said to be from the night of the attack – on September 4.

The footage clearly shows a blow, which was initially delivered by a person outside the alleged attackers' car.

The recordings also correspond to the story we heard from 18-year-old Kiril Gochev in the courtroom, who claims that the first blow was delivered by the police chief's companion, and then he returned fire.

It turns out that modern technology will help to accurately reveal the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident. This is the opinion of the Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Kaloyan Pargov, who commented on the case on the program "This Morning".

“Initially, reactions such as "encroachment on statehood" were provoked, but obviously, if this had happened in the States, the consequences would have been very bad, but the footage shows details and points of view that the court and the prosecutor's office will certainly have to take into account,“ he said.
