This was stated by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov during the official celebration on the occasion of the 146th anniversary of the establishment of the National Security Service.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the dignified service of the leadership and employees of the National Security Service. „The stability of the service is an emanation of the way in which we view stability in the state, stability in governance and the balance between institutions“, the Prime Minister was categorical.
The National Security Service is the legal successor of the Sofia First Horse Company. It was established in 1879 by decree of Prince Alexander I as the first specialized security unit.
