Tsveta Rangelova, "Vazrazhdane": We will support the vote of no confidence of the PP-DB. When we have a common goal, we put aside our differences

"I don't know why we are dealing with the private case (Blagomir Kotsev - editor's note), but this is the political hypocrisy of their party, because the Prosecutor General is bad when he indicts their members and sympathizers, but he is good when their MPs submit requests to lift the immunities of our MPs," commented the MP from "Vazrazhdane"

"The accusations that our MPs have are that they participated in protests in a way that we have seen PP-DB representatives protest in the same way on a number of occasions". This was stated in "Panorama" by the MP from "Vazrazhdane" Tsveta Rangelova.

"I don't know why we are dealing with the private case (Blagomir Kotsev - editor's note), but this is the political hypocrisy of their party, because the Prosecutor General is bad when he indicts their members and sympathizers, but he is good when their MPs submit requests to lift the immunities of our MPs".

In her words, the protests, supported by different political formations, are not competing, but prove that the government as a whole is not coping.

"Our protest is a natural function of the fact that we were forcibly annexed to the eurozone. We are not talking about a specific person here, but this is the natural dissatisfaction of people whose voice was suppressed. At the beginning of this autumn parliamentary session, we once again submitted a proposal for a referendum on the Bulgarian lev and once again the ruling majority, including the votes of the PP-DB, rejected the possibility of the Bulgarian people being heard.

Rangelova confirmed that "Vazrazhdane" will support the vote of no confidence in the PP-DB because, "unlike them, we are consistent and when we have a common goal, we have shown that we are able to put aside our political differences".

The vote on a specific topic exposes the government's failure to deal with it, she believes.

"The problem with water scarcity is not from yesterday and today, but for years - successive mayors and cabinets have failed to deal with it. This is a targeted, unbiased policy, so that the Ministry of Finance can now transfer 4 billion leva through the BDB, which is already a fact, and to fight the water shortage through a water board - through in-house procedures and without public procurements.

When asked whether the absence of the deputies from "Vazrazhdane" from the National Assembly is not in favor of the majority, Rangelova replied:

"It is pointless to stay in parliament - they end in a record hour and 30 minutes. Why should we stay there, when we can offer solutions to people's problems? For two weeks, I have made numerous questions and proposals to Mr. Baykushev, various ministers, departments, the Water and Sewerage sector.".

Regarding the entry of Russian drones into Poland, she commented: "I have no official information whether they are Russian. I think this is a provocation and it happened a few hours after Ursula von der Leyen's speech, in which she openly talked about war.
