It is clear that the government will not fall - it is a minority government, supported by "New Beginning" - they do not hide it. This was commented on "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" on BNT by PP-DB MP Daniel Lorer.
"We are the opposition that must remind them that they are not alone. Unlike the other opposition - "Vazrazhdane", which wants to destroy and the good news of this parliamentary season is that they are not in the National Assembly. Their absence allows, above all, a normal debate to be held in parliament - for the coalition and the opposition to talk and still hear something. When "Vazrazhdane" are there, there is only screaming, shouting, tearing, demolition, from time to time burning in the streets".
The most important of the motives for the vote comes from the EC report on the rule of law, said Daniel Laurer, defining the document as a "yellow card" for the government.
"The next card would be the so-called structural dialogue - a European term for the fact that they will tell us how to fix these problems and this will happen to the rulers if they continue to ignore it. With this vote of no confidence, we are paying attention".
Another motive is the election of the head of the National Security Agency - according to the PP-DB, the ruling party is trying to force the election of a person who is compromised because he once ruined the machine voting.
"They are applying the same approach to the election of the head of the National Security Institute - by changing the law, since this person is a mandated person and they have no obvious reason. It clearly hinders them. We saw that he did not provide certain information to the CPC and the CPC, because their request was illegal. This is apparently the external reason, besides the purely speculative ones - that hard times are coming, because the budget results are coming and they will not be good".
The topic for the next vote of no confidence will probably be the implementation of the financial policy, because the government is facing a serious deficit, the MP also said.
He called for a reduction in political talk about the beating case in Ruse and believes that the Minister of the Interior was hasty in politicizing the topic:
"In my opinion, he was mistaken and decided to make a political attack on the whole world and the collapse of the state, which activates politicians on the other side. In my opinion, this is extremely harmful and we should not in any way incite society to violence".
