By a government decision, properties - private property in the land of the village of Medkovets, Montana region, necessary for the construction of nearly 5.2 km of the Vidin - Sofia railway line, Vidin - Medkovets section are being expropriated. The section is part of the project “Design of the construction of the Vidin - Sofia railway line: Update of the project and preparation of the Vidin - Medkovets railway section“.

The Vidin - Sofia railway line is a site of national importance, part of the trans-European transport corridor “Orient/Eastern Mediterranean“ and the railway freight corridor “Orient Corridor“ from the TENT-T network, as well as being part of the railway highway “Mezdra South - Ruska Byala and Mezdra - Vidin“.

The funds for compensation to the owners are at the expense of the National Agency “Railway Infrastructure“. The decision can be appealed before an administrative court at the location of the properties within 14 days of its notification to the interested parties in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Code.

By decision of the government, the status of a property - private state property, which is located on “Rogoshko Shose“ Str. in the city of Plovdiv and is provided for management by the Ministry of Finance - “Customs“ Agency - Plovdiv Customs. The same becomes public state property. According to the provision of the State Property Act, the properties provided to the departments for the performance of their functions are public state property.

The Government decided to provide a property — public state property for free use to the Ministry of Culture for the needs of the State Puppet Theater — Stara Zagora, the State Opera - Stara Zagora and the Drama Theater „Geo Milev“ - Stara Zagora. Its management is being taken over by the Stara Zagora Regional Administration due to no longer being necessary. The property is located at 108 „Tsar Simeon the Great“ Blvd. in Stara Zagora and is an independent site in a building. It will be used for the creation, maintenance and operation of a Unified Ticket Center of Cultural Institutions.

The Council of Ministers adopted a decision to grant consent for the transfer of real estate - private state property /two apartments and three studios/ to the capital of the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Nikola Vasiliev“ AD, Kyustendil. The medical institution will use the properties to accommodate doctors who have exceptional experience in their specialties, trained in the most modern technologies, and who are not connected to the city of Kyustendil. For this purpose, the hospital needs to have an appropriate base for their accommodation. Each such step will allow the medical facility to improve the level of service and the standard of living of the population of the Kyustendil region.
