The Council of Ministers adopted a Decision to seize agricultural lands from the Ministry of Interior and include them in the State Land Fund.
The properties represent 18 land properties - public state property, located in the municipality of Svilengrad, Haskovo region. Provided to the Ministry of Interior, the properties were used by the General Directorate of the Border Police (GDBP) to perform specific tasks of control and protection of the state border.
At present, the properties are no longer necessary for the implementation of the activities of the ministry, they have ceased to have the quality of properties related to the effective implementation of the functions of the GDBP for control and protection of the state border and are not necessary for the implementation of the functions of the structures of the ministry. According to the provisions of the Law on the Ownership and Use of Agricultural Land and by decision of the Council of Ministers, these properties are included in the State Land Fund.
