Over 2000 notarial deeds of properties owned by residents of Sofia have disappeared from the archives of the Registry Agency (RA) (documents)!
"Yesterday BOETS entered the Agency and Georgi Georgiev met with Daniela Miteva - director of the RA. At the beginning of the conversation, she tried to accuse BOETS of carrying out a "political order" against her, but then she changed her tone, assuring us that she respects us very much and that BOETS is a serious organization. She remained silent when asked questions about the missing notarial deeds. Miteva confirmed the report of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice, which we have read, which ends with a proposal for her immediate release, but stated that it contained a factual inaccuracy," BOETS wrote on its Facebook profile.
"One of our most serious investigations in recent months is underway. The data established and the information from our sources show that over 2,000 notarial deeds of properties in Sofia have disappeared from the archive of the Bulgarian Anti-Corruption Agency," they specify. These are property deeds issued in the period from 1912 to 1989.
"We also have photographs that reveal a terrifying picture of mismanagement and sloppiness, which we will also publish. Warehouses with hundreds of thousands of notarial deeds and company documents that look like dumps - dumped "in bulk" sacks, torn boxes with documents and flying leaves", the post also says.
According to their sources, this is a mega scheme by the property mafia to steal properties in Sofia with the participation of senior officials of the Registry Agency, notaries and other officials.
BOEC also received a 37-page report from the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice with the conclusion that Daniela Miteva should be immediately dismissed as executive director of AB without notice. This report found brutal violations.
"We call on property owners in the city of Sofia to check their status and available documents. Especially properties of childless persons who have died, properties of people who have been abroad for many years, etc.", BOEC writes and awaits the reaction of the new "fighters" against the mafia and corruption. The principal of the Registry Agency is the Ministry of Justice.
Daniela Miteva held the position of director of the Registry Agency until 2009 during the triple coalition BSP - DPS - NMSV. She was reappointed to the position by Yanaki Stoilov in the first caretaker cabinet of Rumen Radev. She was appointed together with Ivan Demerdzhiev as Deputy Minister of Justice. After that, Demerdzhiev also became Minister of Justice, and in the next caretaker cabinet he was appointed Minister of the Interior. It is evident that Miteva is one of Rumen Radev's cadres and survived in the post despite all reports and signals during all caretaker and regular cabinets. One of her "guardians" is the former GERB minister Georgi Georgiev, close to Peevski.
