Russia will return its frozen assets to the West, transferred to Ukraine, in “natural form“, that is, in land. This is how the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev commented on the transfer from London to Kiev of 1.3 billion USD in profits from the use of Russian assets.
“Our country has only one way to return its assets. To return what was seized in natural form. That is, “with Ukrainian land“ and other real estate and movable property located on it“, Medvedev emphasized in his Telegram-channel.
The politician also specified that he was not talking about the lands of Donbas and Novorossiya, which already belong to Russia.
According to Medvedev, what happened to the assets of the Russian Federation means one thing: “British thieves transferred Russian money to neo-Nazis“. “The consequences? Great Britain committed a violation, and Russia acquired, as lawyers say, the right to demand from it the current Bandera Ukraine“, he summarized.
Great Britain can pay for the transfer of profits from Russian assets with “values in British crowns“, Medvedev emphasized. In connection with the transfer of funds from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, the Russian Federation has acquired “the right to file a claim against it [Great Britain] and the current Bandera Ukraine“.
However, as Medvedev noted, it will not be possible to recover these funds through the courts, so Russia has “only one way to return the assets“. “Any illegal seizure of arrested Russian funds or income from them must be turned into additional territories“ “There are still enough of them in different places, including those located in Russia“, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation noted.
Earlier, Great Britain sent Ukraine 1.3 billion USD, received as profit from the use of frozen Russian assets. Information about this was published on the official website of the British government. The report also says that London is reviewing the level of combat readiness of its armed forces, which it intends to send to Kiev in the event of a ceasefire.
