The 15-year-old girl injured in an incident in the capital's "Poduyane" district is in a stabilized condition, the press center of the "Pirogov" hospital announced.
They added that the girl's condition remains serious. She spent a peaceful night and continues to be under intensive care and active observation in the Children's Resuscitation Clinic of “Pirogov” led by Assoc. Prof. B. Mladenov.
Yesterday, the girl was urgently taken to the operating room for life-saving interventions, the hospital said, adding that the operation lasted hours and was performed by a multidisciplinary team.
Yesterday, the Emergency Medical Care Center announced that they had responded to a report of a man who had stabbed three people in “Poduyane“. A medical team has determined the death of a 21-year-old boy. A 15-year-old girl with multiple stab and cut wounds was transported to the "Pirogov" hospital, and a 78-year-old woman with cut and stab wounds to the abdomen and chest.
Later, the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office (SGP) charged the man with killing his son and attempting to kill his daughter and mother.
