The “Debora“ case continues today in the Plovdiv District Court, in which the girl's ex-boyfriend Georgi Georgiev is on trial.
Three charges have been brought against him - for inflicting moderate bodily harm with particular cruelty and in a particularly painful manner, for coercion and for threatening to kill Deborah Mihaylova.
The trial has been ongoing for more than 2 years. In the meantime, the defendant Georgi Georgiev has condemned the Plovdiv District Court for delayed justice, after the criminal trial against him was returned to its starting position due to the recusal of the jury.
The decision of the Stara Zagora District Court is that the Plovdiv District Court shall pay Georgi Georgiev 500 euros in compensation, plus interest.
