An attempted murder was committed around midnight in the Stara Zagora village of Obruchishte. According to initial information, a man chased his wife with a car and deliberately ran her over, NOVA reports.
Police and emergency teams were sent to the scene.
The injured woman was transported to a university hospital, where she was admitted for treatment. Doctors report that she has serious injuries and is in danger of death.
The perpetrator was detained by the police.
He tested positive for drugs.
