RIA employees chased a car in the oncoming lane of the Struma Motorway, a drunk border policeman turned out to be behind the wheel

Employees of the “Road Infrastructure“ Agency (API) chased a car moving in the oncoming lane of the “Struma“ highway. A border policeman from Petrich turned out to be behind the wheel, whose breathalyzer test showed nearly 2 per mille of alcohol.

The incident caused a dangerous chase on the highway, which ended in the Simitli area.

The representatives of the RIA followed the car, which was moving in the oncoming lane of the highway, reports Struma.

Despite repeated calls to stop, the driver continued driving, causing a dangerous chase on the highway. After a long chase, the car was diverted to the Simitli area and stopped.

The check revealed that the border policeman from Petrich, an employee of the Zlatarevo border checkpoint, was behind the wheel. The breathalyzer showed nearly 2 per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air. The employee was detained.
