Two men deny that they are theirs

Weapons were seized from a man's home, he claims they were taken from his friend, the police reported.

On March 21, at around 4:00 p.m., the Kazanlak Police Department received a report from a 47-year-old man about him keeping homemade weapons and ammunition in a property he lived in in Kazanlak. A police team was sent to the scene. An inspection of the scene was conducted. Three pistols were found and seized, one with an empty magazine, the other with a magazine with five rounds, and the third with an erased number with two rounds, and ammunition – 122 cartridges, different calibers and one blank cartridge.

The man stated that the weapons and ammunition were taken from his friend, a 79-year-old man, who, in front of the police officers, denied that the weapons and ammunition were his. A search was carried out in the basement of the 79-year-old man in an apartment building in the town of Kazanlak, and two cartridges were found and seized.

An investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the Stara Zagora District Prosecutor's Office. The 47-year-old man was detained for a period of up to 24 hours, and the 79-year-old man was not detained due to his health condition.
