Nearly 15,000 euros and lists of names of people were detained during an operation against the violation of electoral rights in the municipality of Kaolinovo, Shumen region, the Ministry of Interior's Regional Office - Shumen announced. An expired ID card was also found. Three people were detained.
During the operation, 17 places were checked for which there is information that they are used for buying and selling votes, 39 individuals from the criminal contingent, 8 individuals who have established themselves as local leaders with influence on the electoral process, as well as 15 company owners in order to prevent corporate voting.
6 warning protocols have been drawn up. One signal for vote buying is being worked on. One person has been identified and is wanted nationwide.
