Firefighters with a high ladder reached a man whose body was found in the stone bed of the river under the "Lion's Bridge" in Sofia.
Police teams were called to the scene.
The causes of the incident are being clarified.
According to eyewitnesses, the man was pushed by three young men who were detained. The deceased was cleaning shop windows in the area and a bucket, rags and windshield wipers can be seen scattered on the bridge. His relatives are also at the scene.
