A 68-year-old woman was killed in Razlog, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Blagoevgrad announced.
A 46-year-old relative of hers was detained. Around 22:05 last night, a signal was received from a resident of Razlog that she could not contact her 68-year-old fellow citizen.
Arriving on the spot, police officers and a team of the Emergency Medical Assistance Branch in Razlog found that the woman died after a stab wound in the chest by a 46-year-old relative of hers.
The incident took place in a house inhabited by the persons. The man was detained by the police officers who arrived at the scene. He was transported to the Medical Center-Razlog for treatment with a cut wound in the neck.
The investigation into the case continues under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
