American actor Eric Dane, known for his work on "Grey's Anatomy" and "Euphoria", has died at the age of 53, People magazine reported.
In April 2025, it was announced that Dane had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a severe, incurable disease of the central nervous system that causes paralysis of the limbs and muscle atrophy. “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce that Eric Dane passed away on Thursday after a courageous battle with the disease.
